Equivalent availability factor
In FY25, AGL’s overall fleet Equivalent Availability Factor (EAF), was 79.1%, down 6.7 percentage points compared to FY24. This was primarily driven by a decrease in generation at Loy Yang A due to the planned Unit 4 major outage (compared to no major outages for Loy Yang A in FY24) and unplanned outages at Bayswater in the second half of the year.

Wind farms (Tilt Renewables) comprises Silverton Wind Farm and Coopers Gap Wind Farm (starts FY22 onwards and handed over to Tilt in Jun 2024). |
Wind farms (non-Tilt Renewables) comprises Oaklands Hill, Wattle Point, Macarthur, Hallett, Hallett Hill, North Brown Hill and The Bluff wind farms. |
Battery Assets is included from FY24 onwards and comprises of Dalymple, Wandoan, Torrens BESS with Broken Hill BESS FY25 onwards. |
Thermal and gas generation fleet EAF comprises the performance of the following assets weighted by megawatt (MW) capacity: Liddell, Bayswater, Loy Yang A, Torrens Island (A & B), Somerton, Barker Inlet and Kwinana Swift Power Station. |
Overall EAF is weighted by megawatt (MW) capacity. |
