There was a 12% decrease in surface water withdrawal compared to FY24. Surface water withdrawal decreased 23% at AGL Loy Yang and decreased 2% at Bayswater Power Station.

Groundwater withdrawal decreased 14%, mostly driven by a 14% decrease at AGL Loy Yang. AGL Loy Yang is the main contributor to groundwater withdrawal.

Municipal water withdrawal decreased 9%, mostly driven by a 10% decrease at AGL Loy Yang. AGL Loy Yang is the main contributor to municipal water withdrawal.

The 21% reduction in total water consumption at AGL Loy Yang aligns with a 15% reduction in electricity generation.

AGL Macquarie was the only facility that reported rainwater in FY25.
