FY25 Scope 2 emissions were consistent with FY24, as there have been no material changes in our electricity consuming operations.
Scope 2 emissions are indirect greenhouse gas emissions arising from AGL's consumption of purchased electricity, heat or steam. |
Scope 2 location-based emissions are calculated and defined as per sections 7.2 and 7.3 of the National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting (Measurement) Determination 2008. |
Scope 2 market-based emissions are calculated and defined as per section 7.4 of the National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting (Measurement) Determination 2008. |
Emissions are within AGL’s operated boundary. Operational control is as defined by the National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting Act 2007. |
