Assets

The overall performance of AGL's operated wind assets has improved in FY25. Since FY24, the performance of Macarthur Wind Farm has been inhibited due to transformer issues, these were resolved in FY25.

Notes

Data relates to the sent-out electricity generation and AEMO registered capacity for assets over which AGL has operational control regardless of who owns the asset. Assets where AGL controls or has rights to the electricity output only are not included.

For wind farms under construction or in commissioning during a given financial year, the capacity factor is only reported where material generation volumes have been reached.

In June 2024, AGL and Tilt Renewables agreed to terminate agreements pursuant to which AGL provided asset management and agency and dispatch services in respect of certain assets owned by Tilt Renewables, namely the Nyngan Solar Plant, Broken Hill Solar Plant, Coopers Gap Wind Farm and Silverton Wind Farm. As a result, Tilt Renewables will be responsible for operations and maintenance for each facility, while AGL continues to have offtake agreements in respect of these assets.
